The English edition of Blitz India was launched on February 5, 2022 in New Delhi by Amitabh Kant, the then-CEO of Niti Aayog and the present G20 Sherpa of India. A few months later, the Hindi edition of the newspaper also made its appearance. In September 2022, Blitz India was launched at a gala event in Mumbai.

Ever since its launch, Blitz India has become a must-read for policymakers, thinkers, academics and the intelligentsia.
