Tadasoft 40 mg is marketed as a tadalafil product. Tadalafil can affect blood pressure because it causes mild blood-vessel relaxation, which may produce a temporary decrease in blood pressure. Blood pressure is more likely to fall noticeably when tadalafil is: Taken with nitrate medicines such as nitroglycerin — this combination is contraindicated because it can cause a potentially dangerous drop in blood pressure. Combined with alpha-blockers used for blood pressure or prostate symptoms, because both can lower blood pressure. Taken alongside antihypertensive medicines, where an additional blood-pressure-lowering effect can occur. Combined with substantial alcohol consumption, which can increase the risk of dizziness or hypotension. Used by someone who already has low blood pressure or certain cardiovascular conditions, who may be more sensitive to its vasodilating effects. For tadalafil alone, studies found only a small average reduction in blood pressure in healthy subjects, so significant hypotension is not typical.
