This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of nonarthritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). If you notice changes in your vision, such as blurred vision, sensitivity to light, blue/green color tint to vision, or sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes, contact your doctor immediately. Overdose with this medicine can cause severe side effects. Symptoms include priapism, nausea and chest pain. These effects may be permanent if they're not treated right away. It can also cause severe and persistent dizziness, and difficulty with movement, or a rapid or irregular heartbeat.
