Tamilnadu College of Engineering was sponsored by Tamilnadu Technical Education Foundation (Regd.) established in the year 1984. The College is recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu, approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), AICTE, New Delhi accredited the courses B.E. (Computer Science Engineering ), B.E. (Mechanical Engineering ), B.E(Civil Engineering) and B.E(Electronics and Communication Engineering) for 3 years.
