Sunstate Sands Bundaberg (Silica Sand Supplier) holds several Mining Leases and Mineral Development Leases at Coonarr Creek in an area approximately 20 kilometres south of Bundaberg, Queensland Australia. Mining commenced on the site in late 1996 to feed a pilot plant, which produced approximately 12,000 tonnes per annum of washed and dried sand, principally used in foundry and epoxy industries, architectural coatings, pool, and decorative finishes. In 2006, we acquired the Sunstate Sands mine which formed part of a long-term plan to provide quality products to local, national & global customers. In 2015 a new purpose-built wet plant was commissioned, capable of delivering up to 500,000t per annum across 6 different product classifications. Sunstate Sands Bundaberg takes pride in providing our customers with high quality silica sand in various gradings as well as our beautiful range of Pool Render products.
