SRMB Realfabrica is a trusted MS hollow section manufacturer in India, producing square hollow sections (SHS), rectangular hollow sections (RHS) and circular hollow sections (CHS) for construction, architecture and engineering projects. As part of the SRMB group, with a steel legacy going back to 1951, the company makes high-quality structural steel tubes on ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipe lines, from an integrated plant in Durgapur.

Every MS square pipe, MS rectangular pipe and MS round pipe is manufactured to Indian Standards IS 4923, IS 3601 and IS 1161, and rolled from HR coil. The company is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified steel manufacturer and is classified as a Primary Steel Producer by the Ministry of Steel. Its in-house PAWS quality framework covers physical uniformity, accurate sizing, weld quality and surface strength. Each batch is tested with digital UTM and spectrometer equipment.

Compared with solid bars and open sections, hollow steel sections offer a better strength-to-weight ratio, lower material and transport costs, good corrosion resistance and easier welding and fabrication. They are widely used as steel pipes for construction, including:

Architectural work: glass curtain walls, space frames, railings and staircases
Industrial use: sheds, storage racks, pipe racks, columns and trusses
General engineering: solar structures, greenhouses, furniture and exhibition stalls
Infrastructure: bus stands, railway platforms, foot-over bridges, stadiums and airport terminals
