I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who works with adults 18 years and above. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings for several years which has broadened my perspective. I chose to work in this field out of a passion to help and not as a job. I try to follow in the footsteps of my father who was an old fashioned family doctor. He believed in taking time with each person instead of getting them in and out the door in 10 minutes.
My focus is to provide comprehensive medication management, however I strongly believe that this goes hand-in-hand with listening, conversation, and discussion. By offering a holistic approach to your individualized care, we can explore a variety of options that lets us work together as a team to reach your goals and at a pace that you feel most comfortable with.
