The *Parang La Trek* is a high altitude one that exists between Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh region. Marked for a great deal of rock features, this 8–10 days trail takes the trekkers through the ancient trade trails, glacial streams and the Parang La Pass at 5,580 meters. Both trekkers are rewarded with panoramic views of the Changthang Plateau and a beautiful Tso Moriri Lake. It is perhaps best done between July and September, and requires the participants to a certain degree of physical fitness and acclimatizing. The Parang La Trek is best suited for experienced trekkers who are looking for off beat beauty of nature and hiking through some of the unknown Himalayan valleys.
