It made a humble beginning in a rented building near mayo hall on M.G.Road with 200 students and 5 staff members in 1963. Today KLE’s S.Nijalingappa College has grown into a gigantic tree achieving new heights, with more than 6500 students and 500 members of the staff. The fact that the College has been reaccredited with CGPA 3.82 out of 4 (highest in Karnataka) and was accorded a rare status by UGC “College with potential for Excellence” is testimony to this. The college alumni are brand ambassadors across the world spreading the message of KLE Societies’ service in the field of education.
