Haemorrhoids is a common problem that usually occurs in the age group of 19-40. Treatments of haemorrhoids depend on the stage of the disease. For the recovery process patients are commenced on fluids and a diet 4 hours after the surgery. The surgery itself may take up to one hour. After the surgery, patients are mobilised on the day of the surgery itself. Patients can typically be discharged the day after surgery, or after the patient has had a bowel movement.
