Since 1977, bottled water production has grown almost annually, with annual sales exceeding $ 20 billion in recent years. That equates to about 14 billion gallons of water a year. And while there seem to be dozens (though not billions) of bottled water delivery, including from “natural” sources (most often not “natural” and “springs”), streams with vitamins, minerals, flavors, and those with extra oxygen, the player of the recent years seems to be water that’s alkaline.
