Dr. Swetha. P grew up under the shadow of skin and cosmetology practice since her kindergarten days as her father Dr. R Panneerselvam was one of the top listed dermatologist and cosmetologist at the U.A.E, this made her pursue her career to become a Dermatologist. After completing her schooling from the Middle East, she completed her M.B.B.S from Pondicherry university and her masters(M.D D.V.L) from Rajah Muthiah medical college under the guidance of Prof. P.V.S Prasad and P.K Kaviarasan. Having interest towards academics and Pediatric dermatology she joined as an Assistant professor in the Department of D.V.L at Sree Balaji medical college under the supervision of Prof. Jayakar Thomas and did several paper publications and case studies. She has received training for Lasers and anti- ageing treatments from the Middle East. She has been selected and invited as faculty for several podium presentations both at national and international level. She has received the prestigious ‘Galadari award’ from Prof. Ibrahim Galadari for the best paper published at Dubai Derma 2017.
