Dr P K Choudhury is a postgraduate in Internal Medicine (Rheumatology services). Subsequently, he pursued a Fellowship in Rheumatology and is currently working in the Department of Rheumatology at Apollo Clinic, Guwahati. He is also an Associate Fellow of Industrial Health. 

Dr. Choudhury has a significant contribution to academics and research work as well. He has many International and National research papers in Rheumatology and few publications to his credit. He has worked in state-of-art Rheumatology facilities & attained expertise in management of rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis/ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, SLE, scleroderma, Polymyositis/Dermatomyositis, Vasculitides (eg Wegener’s granulomatosis, polyarteritis nodosa), and other disorders of joint/adjacent tissues such as osteoarthritis, crystal associated arteriopathies, fibromyalgia etc.
