Every company has a shelf, a cupboard or a storage room full of old laptops and drives that “someone will deal with later”. The trouble is that deleting files or formatting a drive does not really remove what was on it. Data Sanitization Pro (DSP) exists to deal with that problem properly.

DSP is Windows-based data erasure software, developed in India. You pick the drives, choose an erasure standard, and the software wipes them. Then it does the part many tools skip: it reads the drive back to check that the wipe really worked. If a check fails, the result says so. You never get a quiet “success” that isn’t true.

Every device ends with a signed PDF certificate showing the serial number, the method used, the verification result, who ran it and a hash of the document itself. That means an auditor, a customer or a buyer who was not in the room can still trust the record.

The software is built for real working life. It handles hard drives, SSDs, NVMe drives, USB sticks, memory cards, servers and SAN or NAS storage. With more than two dozen erasure standards, including NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2, DoD 5220.22-M and IEEE 2883, teams can follow whichever policy they work to. Because Windows can’t erase the disk it is running from, DSP makes its own bootable USB, and PXE network boot lets a whole room of computers wipe themselves at once. It also works offline, which matters in secure and air-gapped places.

Before a machine is resold or reused, a hardware test and drive health checks (SMART data, bad sectors, temperature) help you decide what happens to it next.
