There are three types of Criminal Record Check Certificates we offer: Federally-issued, Provincially issued, and Electronically issued.

The Federally-issued RCMP Criminal Record Check Certificate is offered by RCMP Headquarters in Ottawa. The Ottawa RCMP Criminal Record Check Certificate is the most credible certificate as the criminal record search is based on the name, date of birth, and the fingerprints of the applicant. The fingerprints must be submitted in order to obtain this certificate. The applicant can submit the fingerprints at their local police stations or at the authorized fingerprinting agencies in Canada.
