Charnock Hospital has world-class amenities that helped it to become the most dedicated COVID hospital in Kolkata in West Bengal. To take additional responsibilities to the patients suffering from this disease, the Hospital has annexed the Haj House, a Government of West Bengal property near Kolkata International Airport, to convert it into a COVID treatment center. This annexed part started operating with 100 beds on May 1, 2021. The hospital managing committee plans to extend this part further to make it a 300-bed Covid hospital soon.
