My name is Nitesh and I have been practicing Yoga since 2006. I have been given blessings by my guru Sh. Sharath Jois to teach Ashtanga Yoga. I have been Authorized by guruji to teach the practice of Ashtanga Yoga in the lineage and tradition of KPJAYI Mysore. My first practice happened at Sol Yoga in Frederick Maryland with Dorcas. After trying my hands at different forms of yogas – I found home at Ashtanga Yoga Center in Washington DC first with David and then at Kali Yoga with Antonella. In the middle, Anna, Aliya and Megan were very instrumental in helping me getting back to my practice at Jois Yoga in Greenwich. Since then, I have made many extended trips to Mysore to practice with my Guru Sh. Sharath Jois. I am indebted to many others during my journey, especially my wife, Manaswini, my daughter Trayambika, parents, brother, sister-in-law, Vikram, Kapil, Suveer, Nisha and Usha. I hope to inculcate the same knowledge that has been passed onto me by my guru and many others who have been part of my journey.
