7 Days Himalayan Meditation & Yoga Retreat
Our Yoga Nidra retreat explores the concept of Yoga Nidra and introduces relaxation techniques to help with the transition into Yoga Nidra practices. Though daily asana, pranayama, and meditation practices are included in the curriculum to provide balance to the practice and prepare the body and mind for relaxation and Yoga Nidra sessions, Yoga Nidra is the centerpiece of the retreat. For asana practice, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha yoga techniques are the main focus of our school.
After six days of training, students will have one day off. each week. Our school arranges a half-day excursion for the students on this day of leisure, which may include a visit to one of Rishikesh's holy locations. Usually falling on a Sunday, the rest day might be shifted to a weekday to avoid the peak tourist season traffic and crowds in Rishikesh. The itinerary includes a visit to either Vashishtha Cave or Kunjapuri Temple. Depending on the circumstances, the excursion may move to a new place. The excursion is sponsored by the school and is paid for by the course fee. The school will also select the location.
