D.Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course is the study of diploma in pharmacy. It’s a full-time course completed in 2 years. The main responsibilities of a pharmacist include: Providing medications, assuring of the suitability and safety of the recommended therapy B.Pharmacy course spans through full 4 academic years which includes 8 semesters. For lateral entry students there will be 3 academic years which includes 6 semesters. The Curriculum and syllabus for the course will be prescribed later by the Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi. 1st Year B.Pharm: Passing the 10+2 Examination done by the state or central government authorities or passing any equivalent exam to the 10+ examination . Subjects should include English as a subject and also must include Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.), Chemistry and physics as individual optional subjects.
