We decided that making one type of frame would be the easiest and cheapest option for our customers, and it would also help them keep costs under control. Picture framing is a very old trade. The problem with this is that the framers were never incentivized to work as quickly as possible, and often took days to craft frames. In 2016, we started mass-producing picture frames in a factory, using software to design the frames. The idea was that by automating the framing process, they could get frames made quicker.
