Surya Pets Funeral Services didn't start as a business plan so much as a reaction to a gap we kept running into around Yelahanka: when a pet died, most families had nobody to call who actually knew what they were doing, let alone anyone willing to sit with the ceremony side of it, the pooja, the burial, the small rituals that mattered to them specifically.

The early days were mostly figuring things out as we went, working with a handful of families and paying attention to what they actually needed beyond the practical steps. Some wanted us in and out as fast as possible, out of grief more than anything else. Others wanted us to slow down, explain each part, and not rush the final rites even if it meant running late for the next call. Both are fine by us. We realized very quickly that empathy and patience are just as crucial as having the right vehicle or cold storage facility.

We now handle cremation, burial, and everything around it for families across Yelahanka, Jakkur, Hebbal, Sahakara Nagar, Vidyaranyapura, Attur Layout, and the rest of Bengaluru. The work hasn't gotten routine with time. If anything it's the opposite, every case is its own family and its own animal, and neither one is interchangeable with the last.
