Late Sh. Sitaram Ji started the chole bhature business with a small push cart near DAV School, Paharganj in 1955. With a passion for cooking and a desire to provide delicious and affordable food to the residents and shopkeepers of the area, he would push his cart around and sell the exotic tawa chole bhature. The taste and aroma of his food soon became the talk of the town, and people from all over Delhi would come to try his famous dish.

After years of hard work and dedication, in 1970, Sh. Sitaram Ji opened a small shop in Paharganj. It was a humble beginning, but word-of-mouth and the love of their customers helped them grow their business manifold over the years. Their chole bhature became so famous that people would line up outside the shop just to get a taste of it.
