Biological wastewater treatment plants are installed where there is no possibility to connect to the centralized urban wastewater treatment network. They are usually installed by the owners of individual houses, rural tourism homesteads, production companies, garden associations, hotels. All wastewater treatment plants must comply with the requirements of Lithuanian legislation and have supporting documents.
