Tellery, who is largely considered the pioneer of the Indian carpet export business, the business of making fine, luxury carpets was passed on to Patodia, who introduced the Hands brand. With over a century of carpet and rug making expertise that provides livelihood to an entire town of craftsmen, in and around Bhadohi near the Ganges riverside town of Varanasi, UP, India, Hands carpets today, are seen in some of the finest palaces, luxury hotels and residences across the globe.
