Dr. Dibya Ranjan Behera was born and brought up in Cuttack, Odisha. He has done his MBBS from SCB Medical college, Cuttack, and MD general Medicine from IMS, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Then he did his DM Cardiology at the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, Kerala which is an Institute of National Importance declared by the Govt. of India.
