Dr Alok Kumar Sahoo, completed his MD (Dermatology & Venereology) from the most prestigious medical institute of India, AIIMS (New Delhi). After completing post- graduation with an outstanding academic record, he continued for another 2 years as Senior Resident in the same institute. During this period, he was involved in various research projects. He is having keen interest in procedural dermatology, vitiligo surgery, stem cell therapy in skin, research in hair biology and newer modalities of treatment for prevention of hair loss and hair restoration. During his tenure at AIIMS, he had done research on autologous cell based therapy for treatment of facial volume loss, which was published in reputed dermatology journal.
