BitMart is a cryptocurrency trading platform that provides real-time trading services for various cryptocurrencies. On December 4th, 2021, a security firm named Peckshield discovered a security breach on BitMart Login resulting in a loss of around $200 million. An unidentified transaction of $10 million was made to an address referred to as the BitMart Hacker. BitMart also provides information on long and short positions in crypto trading. A long position is when a crypto user buys the cryptocurrency with the hope that the price will increase from a given point. In contrast, a short position is when a crypto user sells the cryptocurrency with the hope that the price will decrease from a given point.
