Big Game is a 2014 Finnish action adventure film directed by Jalmari Helander, based on the original story by Helander and Petri Jokiranta. The film stars Samuel L. Big Game isn't quite ridiculous enough to laugh *with* and isn't quite original enough to be impressed by. Instead it sits an awkward middle ground where you assume its parody but it's not, it's just silly. The premise is that of an 80's action movie, an era/genre combo I think we should definitely bring back.
As anyone who's seen him in the trashy cult classic Snakes on a Plane will tell you, Jackson can do big, brash and bombastic with élan, while no one can shout "motherf-----" before killing someone quite like him.
While spending time alone in the wild, a 13-year-old boy encounters the US president in an escape pod. Realizing that the president is in grave danger, the boy decides to help him.
When Air Force One is shot down by terrorists leaving the President of the United States stranded in the wilderness, there is only one person around who can save him - a 13-year old boy called Oskari. In the forest on a hunting mission to prove his maturity to his family.
