Annular Cutter

What is the annular cutter?
The annular cutter is usually used for magnetic drills, but it also works well on milling machines, and can even be applied to drill presses. It is a more expensive and effective alternative to spiral drills and standard hole saws.

What are annular cutters used for?
The annular cutter is a special bit used to drill through steel. Just like the wood hole saw, the circular cutter can only cut the outer edge of the hole. The annular cutter is designed for fast and efficient hole processing, and only cuts the material required to produce high-quality holes.

The advantage of the annular cutter is that it has clean and precise large holes and does not require huge horsepower because it only cuts a small part of the material compared to other drilling or milling options. We provide high-quality carbide tip cutters (TCT annular cutter) and standard high-speed steel (HSS annular cutter) in standard and metric sizes, which can be re-sharpened many times to achieve the lowest single hole cost.
